Book Page Leaf Garland
Any old book that you have on hand will work for this project as it s completely customizable.
Book page leaf garland. Group three leaves together and place a hole punch at their stems. Jute ribbon or white twine. Tear book pages out being sure to stay as close to the book seam as possible.
This year s fall decor is full of neutral colors white pumpkins and lots of burlap. This way you can cut multiple leaves at the same time. If you press hard enough you should be able to cut half a dozen leafs at a time.
You may use my pattern or save to your computer and change the size to what you prefer. Small thumbtacks tiny nails or sticky tack. Using two or three book pages at a time place a leaf template on top of them and cut around the template.
Tear out a few pages from your book. Do this with different leaf shapes and until you have enough leaves. Trace the leaf on one half of a book page.
I finally got around to breaking out the sewing machine today. I had this idea last year to make a paper leaf garland using an old book to make the paper leaves from. Just a little twine burlap a few pages from an old book and some clothespins more.
